Jon Sampson, owner of Sampson & Company, learned ornamental plastering as an apprentice in Bristol, England. For over 2 decades he has honed his craft working around the United States on many  projects, including Grand Central Station, NY, NY, Union Station, KC and The White House.

In 2005 Jon established Sampson & Company and opened a shop in Portland, Maine. Jon has completed many plastering projects in Maine including The State Street Church, The Daniel Freeman House, The Front Room and The Corner Room Restaurants.

Sampson & Company specializes in classical ornamental restoration and replication. Jon’s craft extends to contemporary plaster design and veneer plaster, delivering the warmth and authentic feel of plaster to 3 coat plaster systems. If you can imagine it, we can do it!
